  • Is this course approved?
  • Yes, our course is Approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and meets all state and court requirements for a Texas defensive driving course.

  • How much does the course cost?

  • How can I pay for the course?
  • You have multiple options to choose from when it comes to paying for the course. The most common method is by credit or debit card. You’ll also have the option to pay by check or money order. No matter which option you choose, you can rest assured that your payment will be secured and protected.

  • How long is the course?
  • The TEA requires all Texas defensive driving courses to meet a six credit hour minimum. Our course is designed to last for six hours, but of course, it does not all have to be completed at once. You can break the time up however you would like to!

  • What if I don’t have internet service or a DVD player at home?
  • Our program is flexible. The videos can be watched at a friend or family member’s home, your office, or even a local library. All that is required is that you watch them and answer the quizzes. You can work wherever you’d like to!

  • When do I have to be done with the program?
  • You due date will be set by the entity that is requiring you to complete the course. If you are taking the program to dismiss a ticket, contact your court for your due date information. If you are completing the course for insurance purposes, speak with your insurance agent. Unfortunately, we cannot grant due date extensions. If you are in a hurry, however, we do offer multiple Rush processing options.

  • When will I receive my completion certificate?
  • Per TEA guidelines, we are required to mail your Completion Certificate to you. It comes on special numbered and watermarked paper, straight to your home address. Standard mail is about 7-10 business days. By selecting one of our Rush processing options you can have it in as little as 24 hours. You’ll be able to select your shipping preferences when Registering.

  • What if I lost my certificate?
  • Please Contact Us at anytime if you have misplaced your certificate. While we can get you another copy quickly, you may be required to pay a certificate processing fee.

  • What if I need a certified driving record?
  • You’re in luck! We offer certified driving records to our students. You’ll be able to select the option when you Enroll in the course. Our driving records are approved by the Department of Public Safety to meet the requirement. Simply turn in your certified driving record when you turn in your certificate. If you forgot to select the option, Contact Us to add one to your account. It’s easy and you can have it quickly!

  • What if I fail the final exam?
  • You’ll have two chances to pass the final exam. Be careful; if you fail it twice you may be required to pay additional fees to retake the course.

  • What is a student affidavit and how do I get one?
  • The student affidavit is a form of identity verification that you will be required to complete if you fail our other methods. We can email or fax this document to you, or, you can access it from your student account in the event that you are required to submit one. Please Contact Us if you need additional help with this step.

  • Why do you need my vehicle registration information?
  • This is one of the ways that the state verifies the identity of those who participate in our course. If you don’t have this information available, or choose not to provide it, you will be required to complete a student affidavit.
